Title: CASTING THE RUNES- First Air Date: 9/8/97
A museum robber stumbles across a bag of sacred runes which end up being a one-way ticket to slavery in another dimension to those who touch them. Having 13 in all, the robber acts as the "Keeper of the Runes" choosing 13 people to be sent to the Neitherworlds. Eduardo is chosen by the robber after a thrilling hunt into the New York subway transit.
Production Supervisor Shannon Muir's comments:
- Character designer Fil Barlow had to come to US from Australia to work with us largely because of problems with the FAX machine. Our machines were somehow squashing and stretching the concept designs that came over from Australia, so we weren't getting the gist of what Fil wanted us to get. So Fil packed up his crew and brought them all over to the US studio. And he's been on nearly every Sony show since!
