Deadliners proved
that Ghostbusters still isn't just for kids. A series much like the Goosebumps
books by R.L. Stine called Gore is one of the most popular books in New
York. But the book ends up being almost too real as the author summons the
spirits to rise from the pages of the book and haunt the city, turning humans
into zombies. All of a sudden, dissaperances start popping up all over the
place, near the writer, Jay M. Kline's, mansion. Not much of a coincidence.
Seeing as how he was taken prisoner by spirits called, the Vathek. His own
creatons where brought to life, when he wrote them into existance. It's
up to the EGB to save the day. In this episode, we find out that Garret
wrote a script based on the GB's experience. Garrets the only one to survive
the story, and the rest of them are killed off in the last two pages.

Shannon Muir's comments:
- An episode
which originally as scripted would have recieved a TV-13 rating, a very
interesting episode and one of the best so far. A chilling, dark, and rustic
theme is kept throughout the show making this a stand out with a great story.
