A night club owner uncovers a series of catacombs which are protected by a ghost who can see into people's fears and turns them into reality. The gang has to pull together to face each other's fears and end up finding in the long run that the ghost's fear is human beings. In this episode we discover that Garret has a fear of enclosed spaces, Eduardo has a fear of death, Roland has a fear of the equipment breaking down, and Kylie has a fear of maggots (especially large ones). But the most shocking revelations of the episode: Slimer has a fear of health food as well as the Ghostbusters lock the ratlike ghost into catacombs to remain undisturbed (from the advice of Kylie).
