Comic-Con 2003 Coverage:
For
images of the booth and the 88MPH crew (not pictured is Andrew Dabb,
sorry Andrew forgot to grab a pic before I left), take a look at the
Comic-Con
photo gallery! Comic-Con 2003 was a great time (despite all the
long lines and unorganization- which is to be expected). I spoke in
great depths with Sebastien and Andrew and let me tell you guys, the
comic is in great hands. Both are very passionate about the series and
have a lot of great aspirations and ideas for the comic. The sample
art shown for the preview issue was incredible! Though it wasn't inked,
it still looked great, I can't wait to see what Billy Dallas Patton
does with the series. New information from Sebastien is to expect the
first issue in November and that The Zeddemore Factor will take place
six months after the events in the first movie. Sebastien and Andrew
are very dedicated to the comic have the gritty, mature feel that the
first movie had. Reponse to the comic was very good and caused quite
the buzz. Apparently even members from ILM stopped by the booth and
showed their support. And hey, for five bucks the exclusive Ghostbusters
poster signed by the gang was a steal!
